We are a family-run landscaping firm based in Hazlemere. We design and build gardens, driveways and patios for homeowners across Buckinghamshire and the Chilterns.
Jack Farmbrough
FirstScapes is a family-run business, founded by Jack Farmbrough.
Jack went straight into landscaping from school and has been doing it ever since, for more than 10 years now. Between the team, we have more than 40 years of experience.
When you call, one of the team picks up. Jack then comes out to see your garden and gives you the quote himself. Once the work starts, he is on site every day.
A new garden or driveway can cost five figures and puts a team at your home for weeks. We think you should know who is running the job before anyone arrives.
What You Can Hold Us To
Jack prices every job in person. Every quote starts with a visit. Jack measures up and talks through how you want to use the space. The quote is free and there is no obligation.
We talk the design through with you. We can discuss different designs based on the features you require, and give advice on the pros and cons of different materials. If you already have a garden designer, we will build their design.
The person who priced it is there every day. We usually work in teams of three landscapers, and Jack is on site every day. Questions go to the person who quoted, not to a stranger.
A schedule for every job. Every project is worked to a schedule. Jobs run from a few days to around three months, depending on size.
Guaranteed for 10 Years
Our standard guarantee is 10 years, and it covers both the craftsmanship and the materials.
Where the work is timber, the guarantee is 5 years. That applies to timber decking, fencing and pergolas.
We give it as a number of years because “all work guaranteed” tells you nothing. If you want to know how the guarantee applies to your job, ask Jack when he comes to quote.
